Alternatives to Violence Project
of Connecticut

Conflict is inevitable - violence doesn't have to be.

AVP - Who We Are

We are a worldwide grassroots movement dedicated to building peace in ourselves and in our homes, schools, institutions and communities. We seek to release everyone’s innate power to positively transform ourselves, and in so doing, transform the world.

What We Do

The Values We Teach

Transforming conflict takes a lot of work, especially when you never learned the tools to do so. We take a deep, introspective approach to create lasting change for our participants.
